St Augustine, Florida is known for being the oldest city in the United States and one of the best places to visit in Florida. The founding of St Augustine happened when Pedro Menendez first stepped on the sandy beach here on the feast day of St. Augustine, August 28, 1565. But St. Augustine is more than a historic city, it is a beautiful coastal town with wonderful beaches and culturally vibrant areas to explore.
Casa de Suenos Bed and Breakfast is close to everthing....but far from the ordinary. This Saint Augustine Bed and Breakfast is a treasure of Saint Augustine.
While staying at my Inn, you can leave your car in my convenient on site parking lot and leave all your cares behind. A short walk from the Inn, you can visit many historic sights. Flagler College St Augustine Fl is just a few blocks away. It is housed in what was the Ponce de Leon Hotel, built in 1888 by Henry Flagler. I highly recommend taking the tour of this magnificent building. Guided tours are offered every day at 10 AM and at 2 PM. As you enter the grand rotunda or visit the dining hall surrounded with Louis Tiffany glass windows, you will feel that you have stepped back in time to the "Gilded Age"......another treasure of Saint Augustine.
